The unique M.Teach program at Oranim offers a streamlined path for bachelor’s degree holders to transition into a rewarding career in education, with a specific focus on English teaching.
Over the course of two years, students earn both a Master’s degree and an English teaching certificate through a flexible, once-a-week campus schedule. The curriculum is delivered entirely in English, providing a personal and professional environment. The four semesters include two semesters that combine afternoon academic studies with morning field experience. The additional two semesters are on campus. The program ensures participants are fully prepared for English teaching and education in the Israeli context. This dedicated track is particularly ideal for new immigrants and working professionals seeking a supportive, international community.
Oranim is proud of its strong history in English language teacher education. After much preparation, we brought together excellent lecturers and researchers to offer our MTeach program, taught only in English. This two-year, four-semester program allows native English speakers and those with advanced proficiency to earn a Master of Education and an English teacher’s certificate. We are excited to be at the forefront of building a cadre of English-language educator leaders in Israel. The studies provide many networking opportunities.
